The selection of Rasanara for T20 World Cup 2012 drew more attention perhaps because of a headline in a local newspaper that read: Goat-keeper to World-Cupper. Though uncharitable, the headline revealed a commendable aspect of the cricketer as a animal-loving human. The real story was that Rasanara`s father brough home a small goat to celebrate the festival, Bakrid. But of Rasanara, develped compasion for the little animal and succeded in preventing its killing for the feast. |

Since then, Gattu, the goat not only became a member of Rasanara family but the entire locality as well. Gattu was very close to Rasanara, following her in and around the house. The sight of Gattu, which later became as big as a cow, sleeping on a sofa, resting his head on lap of Rasanara and deriving comfort, revealed an unique aspect of Rasanara as a kind-hearted swomen.
