Odisha finished runners-up with two gold and one silver medals in the 40th Junior National Rowing Championships, which was held at Water Sports Centre, Upper Lake, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) from 11 to 15 October, 2019.
The championship was organised by Rowing Association of Madhya Pradesh on behalf of Rowing Federation of India. Sonali Swain and Sonalika Das won one gold in 1000m junior women pair event, clocking 4:17.97.
Reshma Lakra, Harnoor Sidhu, Kushpreet Kaur Brar and Reshma Kumari Minz captured the other gold in 1000m junior women coxless-four event with a time of 3:53.11.
