June 23: In-form Odisha para-shuttler Pramod Bhagat once again lived up to his reputation as the World No 1 in SL-3 category when he clinched a double crown in the FZ Forza Irish Para-Badminton International, held at National Indoor Arena in Dublin from 19 to 23 June 2019.
The ace shuttler from Atabira of Bargarh district won both the singles and doubles titles to complete the double crown in style. In the singles final, Bhagar beat Daniel Bethel of England 21-17, 17-21, 21-10.
With this win, the Odisha player avenged the defeat he suffered at the hands of Bethel in Canadian Para-Badminton International last month in Ottawa.
