An unbeaten 69 by Madhuri Meheta powered Odisha to a 28-run win over Rajasthan in their Group-E match of the BCCI Senior Women T20 League at CAP Siechem Ground in Puducherry today. This was the fourth win for Odisha, who will next meet Kerala tomorrow.
Put into bat by Rajasthan captain SL Meena, Odisha put up a competitive total of 123 for three in the stipulated 20 overs. Madhuri anchored the innings with her 55-ball unbeaten knock which was embellished with nine boundaries. She put on 61 runs for the second wicket with Sarita Meher, who contributed 22.
In reply, Rajasthan were restricted to 95 for seven. Captain Madhusmita Behera was the most successful Odisha bowler with a haul of three wickets for 21 runs, while Rasanara Parwin chipped in with two for 18.
