An unbeaten half-century by Madhuri Meheta and fine allround show by Sushree Dibyadarshini Prdhan guided Odisha to a 20-run win over Bengal in their fourth Group-E match of the BCCI Senior Women T20 League at Palmyra Cricket Ground in Puducherry today. This was the third win for Odisha, who will take on Rajasthan on February 26.
Electing to bat against Bengal, Odisha compiled a respectable total of 117 for four and they bowled out Bengal for 97. Opening batsman Madhuri anchored the Odisha innings with a 55-ball unconquered 51, which included four boundaries.
Madhuri put on 67 runs for the unfinished fifth-wicket partnership with Sushree, who slammed a 36-ball unbeaten 43 with the help of five boundaries and one six. Among Odisha bowlers, Priyanka Priyadarshini Sahu was most successful, scalping three wickets, while Sushree and Reemalaxmi Ekka picked up a brace each.
