The campaign of hosts Odisha in the team events of the 80th Senior National & Inter-State Table Tennis Championship ended with their women losing to Airports Authority of India 0-3 at the pre-quarterfinal stage here at JN Indoor Stadium today.
While Odisha women did well to reach the last-16 stage, the men crashed out at the league stage. Meanwhile, semifinal line-ups were completed in both men and women team events today.
Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) enjoyed allround success as both of their men and women teams advanced to the last-four stage. Semifinals and finals in team events will take place tomorrow. This will be followed by individual events from January 7.

WOMEN: Pre-Quarterfinals: PSPB bt Delhi 3-0, Telangana bt Andhra Pradesh 3-0, Maharashtra B bt Uttar Pradesh 3-0, Maharashtra A bt Karnataka 3-0, West Bengal bt Assam 3-0, Tamil Nadu bt North Bengal 3-1, Gujarat bt Rajasthan 3-2, AAI bt Odisha 3-0. Quarterfinals: PSPB bt Telangana 3-0, Maharashtra B bt Maharashtra A 3-2, West Bengal bt Tamil Nadu 3-2, AAI bt Gujarat 3-2.
