Shot-putters continued to steal the show, creating three more New Meet Records (NMR) on the second day of the 66th Odisha State Athletics Meet, which is being held here at Barabati Stadium, Satyabrata Stadium and Reserved Police Ground from Decmber 28.
Shot-putters have established four out of six NMRs so far in the three-day meet. Anshika Routray created the first NMR U-16 girls shot put earlier on the opening day. Dillip Kumar Senapati (Paradip Port), Lakchuman Sharma (Sambalpur) and Hari Behera (Cuttack) registered the three new shot-put records in boys under 20, 18 and men’s groups respectively.
