Odisha is all set to play hosts to the 1st Petanque Championship at Campus 12, KIIT Deemed University, Bhubaneswar from November 16 to 18, 2018. A total of eight countries are participating in this event, which is being organised by Petanque Federation of India (PFI), under the auspices of Asian Boules Sport Confederation (ABSC).
Participating nations are: India, Mongolia, Cambodia, Iran, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and Chinese Taipei. The championship will feature competition in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Two students from KISS Deemed University _ Abhiram Baskey and Dibya Jyoti Kullu _ will be representing the Indian team.
