Odisha rode on an unbeaten century by Kajal Jena and her 176-run unfinished partnership for the opening wicket with Subhra Nirjharini Swain to maul Arunachal Pradesh by 154 runs in their sixth and last Group-B match of the Women U-19 T20 League here at Nimpur Ground today.
This was the fifth win for Odisha, who qualified the Super League by virtue of finishing second in Group-B league with 20 points. The unchanged Odisha team will play all of their four Group-B super league matches at Chukkapalli Pitchaiah Cricket Ground, Mulapadu, Vijaywada from October 26 to November 1.
Opting to bat against Arunachal, Odisha made 176 for no loss and then skittled out the opposition for a paltry 22. Kajal hit 18 fours in her 65-ball unbeaten knock of 108, while Subhra remained unbeaten on 60 (56b, 6x4). Among Odisha bowlers, Sonali Hembram was most successful, scalping four wickets for two runs.
