Odisha girls and boys won the silver and bronze medal respectively in the Societe Generale Junior (Under-18) National Rugby Sevens Championship, which was held at Dr MGR Race Course Stadium in Madurai, Tamil Nadu from July 20 to 22, 2018.
West Bengal girls successfully defended their title, beating Odisha in the final 17-12. Earlier in the semifinals, Odisha beat Maharashtra 31-7, while West Bengal prevailed over Bihar 15-5.
