A five-wicket haul by Priyanka Priyadarshini enabled Odisha outplay host Karnataka by eight wickets in their Plate semifinal match of the Senior Women’s T20 League at Alur Cricket Stadium in Alur today. Odisha will meet Kerala in the final on January 27.
Opting to bat, Karnataka were bowled out for 85. Priyanka ran through the Karnataka innings like a knife in the butter, taking two wickets in her third over and three in the fourth. Odisha overhauled the target in 19 overs, losing two wickets in the process. Pragyan Paramita Mohanty (31 not out) and Sarita Meher (23 not out) capped the win with a 59-run unfinished partnership for the third wicket.
