Bhubaneswar ``A``, Cuttack ``A``, Jharsuguda and Cuttack ``B`` secured the four semifinal places after winning the last round of super league matches of the Inter-District Under-19 Cricket Tournament at Cuttack today.
Fine all-round performance by Debasis Parida (5 wickets and 21 runs) helped Cuttack ``B`` trounce Bhubaneswar ``B`` by eight wickets. Ankit Yadav shone with both bat and ball (63 not out and 2 wickets) to guide Jharsuguda to a two-wicket win over Mayurbhanj. Cuttack ``A`` owed their 13-run victory over Ganjam to Asmit Rout, who bowled beautifully to return home with five wickets. Narendra Das cracked a fluent half-century to fashion a convincing seven-wicket triumph over Paradip.
