An 18-member squad will represent Odisha in the table tennis event of the 62nd National School Games, scheduled to be held in New Delhi from January 2 to 8, 2017. Odisha State Table Tennis Association had taken responsibility of organising the state level competition, selecting and sending the state squad for the NSG.
The state squad was given a warm send off in a simple function at Bhubaneswar today. Secondary Education Director Ratnakar Rout; State Sports and Youth Services Director A K Jena, Industry Department Joint-Secretary Manoj Patnaik and OSTTA secretary Rabindra Kumar Parida were present in the function.
