Oriental Warriors thrashed Chandrasekharpur Athletic Association (CAA) in the final by 4-0 goals to bag the title in the 13th Gati Krushna Memorial Bhubaneswar Football League (Division-B) at at Unit-I Boys High School Ground here today. Earlier in the semifinals, CAA beat Sunderpada Football Club 2-1, while Oriental Warriors got the better of Golak Bihari Youth Association 4-3 in tie-breaker.
The B-Division League was organised by Bhubaneswar Athletic Association from September 4. Altogether 25 teams participated in this league. Teams were divided into eight groups and after completion of group league top two finishers in each group moved to the pre-quarterfinals.
Bishnu Prasad Panda, an eminent business entrepreneur and son of Late Gati Krushna Panda, inaugurated the tournament in the presence of BAA president Suresh Routray, secretary Dr Sourya Ranjan Parija and tournament committee chairman R N Panda.
