Kumar Ashok won the title in the 11th All Odisha Open Chess Tournament, garnering eight points out of a possible nine here at Odisha Secretariat Recreation Club (OSRC) today. Altogether 102 players from 16 districts participated in the three-day tournament.
GA Department Additional Director (Estates) Ganeswar Jena and Finance Department Deputy Secretary Rupa Narayan Das gave away the prizes in the presence of host OSRC general secretary Managovinda Dalai and chief arbiter Debasis Panigrahi.
