Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) will conduct its domestic tournaments (U-14, U-16, U-19, Kalahandi Cup Senior and Women Inter-District) for the season 2016 tentatively from January to April at Cuttack. Complete fixture and bye-laws of these tournaments will be announced in due course. All affiliated units with playing rights have been requested to send their entry fees for the purpose on or before December 31, 2015.
OCA has made it clear that over-age issue will be strictly dealt with and no team will be allowed to field over-age playes in any of the age-group tournaments. For determination of age, medical tests of all players will be conducted prior to the three age-group tournaments.
According to OCA Hony Secretary Asirbad Behera, it will be mandatory for players of all teams to produce their original birth certificates, academic certificates and resident certificates for verification as mentioned below. No photocopies of certificates will be accepted.
Documents required: 1. Birth certificate (Municipality/ Health Department), 2. School Leaving/ Passing Certificate), 3. Adhaar Card, 4. Voter Identity Card, 5. School/College Identity Card, 6. Pan Card, 7. Residence Certificate by Tahsildar.
Cut-off date for Age-Group Tournaments:
Under-14: Born on or after 1st September, 2002
Under-16: Born on or after 1st September, 2000
Under-19: Born on or after 1st September, 1997.
