Odisha Rifle Association (ORA) launched a 10-metre electronic shooting range here at Utkal Karate School today. The four-lane range, featuring Sius Ascor Olympic-type electronic targets, was inaugurated by Panchayati Raj Minister Arun Sahoo, in the presence of Mayor Anant Narayan Jena, ORA secretary Hari Prasad Pattanayak and other office-bearers of the state body.
According to ORA secretary, the set up in a 20x40 sqft sound-proof and air-condiioned hall with perfect lighting condition, the state-of-the-art electronic range is first of its kind in Odisha.
