Odisha upset host Bengal by 32 run in their Vinoo Mankad Trophy U-19 East Zone one-day match at Bengal Cricket Academy ground in Kalyani today. This was the first win in two matches for Odisha and fetched them four points.
Electing to bat, Odisha compiled a competitive total of 218 and then dismissed the opposition for 179. Bengal captain Agniv Pan was the only batman from either side to score a half-century. He also effected seven dismissals behind the stumps. But the fine effort of Pan went in vain as Bengal ended on the losing side.
