Odisha bagged two silver and as many bronze medals in the KAI Junior National Karate Championship at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi today. According to a press release by Odisha State Karate-do Association, Nihar Ranjan Swain and Payal Baral claimed the two silver medals in 18 to 20 year boys` fight and 16 to 17 year girls` fight categories respectively.
The bronze medals were secured by Abhishek Pattnaik and Udit Uddam in 18 to 20 year boys` kata and 14 to 15 year boys` fight categories respectively. An eight-member squad is representing Odisha in the three-day championship.
