Opener Madhuri Meheta`s fine knock of 64 went in vain as Odisha lost to Maharashtra by six wickets in their second Elite Group-B match of the Inter-State Women`s One-day Competition at Gymkhana ground in Mumbai today.
Batting first, Odisha made a modest total of 152 in 48.2 overs. Swagatika Rath was another successful Odisha batsman, contributing 37 runs. In reply, Maharashtra rode on an unbeaten half-century by A Patil to overhaul the target with five overs to spare.
