Odisha players helped East Zone gain three points by taking first innings lead against North Zone in their drawn two-day match of the Senior Women Inter-Zone Cricket Tournament at Eden Gardens in Kolkata today. North Zone settled with one point.
Among the Odisha players, Swagatika Rath, Madhusmita Behera, Kadambini Mahakud and Madhuri Meheta shone with the bat, while Ritu Singh and Sushree Dibyadarshini Pradhan impressed with the ball.
