Amrutanshu Mohanty of Blossoms School won the title in the 2nd Odisha Schools Open Chess Tournament with full eight points here at Shining Stars Play School today. As many 73 players from 17 schools participated in the two-day tournament, which was organised by Shining Stars Play School.
FINAL STANDINGS (Top 10): 1 Amrutanshu Mohanty (8), 2. Anshuman Nanda, 3-5: Swapnil Priyadarshi, Jagadish Ghadai, Ayananshu Mohanty (each 6); 6-10: Saiba Mishra, Amrutanshu Mohapatra, Sumit Kumar, Aryan Rajguru, Anantprava Naik (each 5.5).
