Rutaparna Panda bagged a double by winning both the women`s singles and mixed doubles titles in the 2nd Nalini Mohanty Memorial Open Badminton Tournament, which concluded at Sahidnagar Indoor Hall here today.
B Kiran Mouli captured the men`s singles title, upsetting top seed S Appa Rao in the final. Appa Rao, however, compensated his singles defeat by winning the doubles crown with partner D Subhakant Mohanty.
Arobinda Sahoo emerged under-19 boys singles champion, while under-19 boys` doubles title was bagged by Swapnil Mohanty and Saurav Mohanty. The three-day tournament, featuring competition in seven events, was organised by Amature Badminton Club.

Men`s doubles: S Appa Rao-D Subhakant Mohanty bt Rasmi R Beura-B Kiran Mouli 21-18, 21-10. U-19 boys` doubles: Swapnil Mohanty-Saurav Mohanty bt M Dushmant-Abhimannu Bagarty 10-21, 21-14, 21-16. Veteran men doubles: Sanjaya Kumar Mohanty-Gouri Sankar Bishi bt Chani Prasad Das-Akshaya Kumar Sahoo 21-18, 21-18. Mixed doubles: Kamal Das-Rutaparna Panda bt Gyan Chand-Hosana Topno 23-21, 21-17.
