Sundargarh Sports Hostel beat Phulbani Sports Hostel 4-2 in the final vie tie-breaker to emerge champions in the Inter Sports Hostel Boys` Football Tournament at Satyabrata Stadium here today. Tie-break rule was applied after play regulation time ended in goalless draw.
DRIEMS sports director Naba Kishore Mishra handed over the trophy at the closing function. Cuttack Sports Hostel in-charge Gangadhar Behera and football coaches Subodh Kumar Jena, Bijay Kanungo and Cuttack DSO Rashmi Ranjan Samantray were present on the occasion. The five-day tournament was organised by Cuttack Sports Hostel under the aegis of State Sports and Youth Services Department.

June 17 (Match No 1): Nayagarh beat Keonjhar 2-0.
June 17 (Match No 2): Sundargarh drew with Baripada 1-1.
June 17 (Match No 3): Bhawanipatna drew with Sambalpur 0-0.
June 18 (Match No 4): Nayagarh beat Balasore 1-0.
June 18 (Match No 5): Keonjhar drew with Sambalpur 1-1.
June 18 (Match No 6): Baripada beat Bolangir 1-0.
June 18 (Match No 7): Bhabanipatna drew with Balasore 0-0.
June 18 (Match No 8): Nayagarh drew with Sambalpur 0-0.
June 18 (Match No 9): Phulbani drew with Sundargarh 1-1.
June 19 (Match No 10): Phulbani beat Baripada 2-0.
June 19 (Match No 11): Bhawanipatna beat Keonjhar 1-0.
June 19 (Match No 12): Sambalpur beat Balasore 1-0.
June 19 (Match No 13): Nayagarh drew with Bhawanipatna 2-2.
June 19 (Match No 14): Keonjhar drew with Balasore 0-0.
June 19 (Match No 15): Sundargarh beat Bolangir 1-0.
June 20 (Match No 16, 1st semifinal): Sundargarh beat Nayagarh 3-1 in tie-breaker
June 20 (Match No 17, 2nd semifinal): Phulbani beat Bhawanipatna 4-2 in tie-breaker
June 21 (Match No 18, Final): Sundargarh beat Phulbani 4-2 in tie-breaker.
