Hockey Odisha continued to reign supreme in the Hockey India Sub-junior Men National Championship (Division A), winning the title for the fourth time in a row at Ranchi today. Riding on a brace by Sudhir Kujur, the Odisha side beat Hockey Haryana 3-1 in the final of the championship`s fourth edition.
Earlier in the semifinals, Hockey Odisha hammered Punjab 7-3. They reached the semifinals, winning all three of their Pool-A matches, defeating Chhattisgarh 11-0, Kerala 12-0 and Tamil Nadu 9-1.
Hockey Odisha general secretary Pratap Satpathy congratulated the team for its overwhelming success. ``Our sub-junior boys have been asserting supremacy since the inception of the national championship by Hockey India. They have made the state proud by winning the title in all four editions so far,`` he said.

May 19 (Match No 2): Hockey Odisha (Suraj Minz 4, 6; Sudhir Kujur 11, 37; Amit Chirmako 12, 51, 64; Ashwin Kujur 14; Suman Kujur 18; Nitin Mukesh Tigga 44; Tikei Kujur 47, 69; Biju Ekka 51; Sanjit Beck 64) beat Kerala (Imnad Farshid 64) 12-0.
May 21 (Match No 3): Hockey Odisha (Amit Chirmako 16, 47; Sudhir Kujur 20, 34; Biku Ekka 54; Nitin Mukesh Tigga 56; Ashwin Kujur 6; Minil Toppo 10; Suraj Minz 62) beat Tamil Nadu (R Manikandan 40) 9-1.
May 24 (Semifinal): Hockey Odisha (Suraj Minz 32, 36, 56; Sudhir Kujur 37, 61; Amit Chrmako 11; Nitin Mukesh Tigga 66) beat Punjab (Arvinder Singh 29, Dilpreet Singh 50, Harmeet Singh 69) 7-3.
May 26 (Final): Hockey Odisha (Sudhir Kujur 5, 18, Nitin Mukesh Tigga 40) beat Haryana (Satnam 55) 3-1.
