Khannagar High School defeated Sayed Seminary School 2-0 in the final to emerge champions in the 20th FAO Debabrata Kar Memorial Cuttack City Inter-School Football Tournament at Sayed Seminary School ground here today,
The champion team received a cash prize of Rs 5,000 and the runner-up outfit Rs 3,000. The third position was secured by PM Academy. Stewart School received the NB Banarjee Memorial Trophy as the best disciplined team.
Himansu Behera (Khannagar) and Sk Farid (Sayed Semainary) were adjudged as the player of the final and player of the tournament respectively. Md Akbar (Sayed Seminary) Sangram Sahoo, Bikash Sahoo (both Khannagar) and Akash Das (Sayed Seminary) won the prizes as best goalkeeper, best defender, best mid-fielder and best forward respectively.
Cuttack Municipal Corporation Mayor Anita Behera graced the closing ceremony as chief guest. Deputy Mayor Ajaya Kumar Barik, former minister Syedd Mustafiz Ahmad, host Veteran Football Players Association president Sameer Dey, Sayed Seminary School president Nigar Alam and organizing secretary Bhakta Ballav Das were present on the occasion.

Match No 2: Stewart School drew with Bhaktamadhu Bidyapitha 1-1.
Match No 3: Sayed Seminary School beat Cambridge School 6-0.

Match No 5: Railway Settlement High School beat St Xavier`s High School 1-0.
Match No 6: Khannagar High School beat Jobra Municipal High School 4-0.
