Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) emerge champions in the IMMT-TCS Invitational Cricket tournament, trouncing Odisha Veteran by eight wickets in the final at IMMT ground here today. Former Odisha Ranji team captain Niranjan Behera starred in the BSNL victory, scalping four wickets and hitting an unbeaten 46. He adjudged the man of the match.
Champions BSNL received Rs 20,000 and runners-up Odisha Veteran were given Rs 10,000. Arun Pradhan, Soumitra Sethy, Abhaya Mallick (all OPTCL), Pravanjan Mullick (Odisha Veterans), Priyabrata Pradhan (BSNL) took the prizes as man of the tournament, best bowler, best fielder, best batsman and best wicket-keeper respectively.
