Odisha settled with one point after conceding a 95-run first-innings lead against Hosts Jharkhand, who gained three points in their four-day Cooch Behar Trophy (U-19) Plate-B match, which ended in a draw at Jamshedpur today.
In reply to Odisha`s first innings total of 279, Jharkhand declared their’s at 374 for six. Odisha were 209 for four in the second innings when both the captains agree to split points. Opener Subhrajyoti Mishra and captain Ranjit Singh hit a half-century each for Odisha in the second innings.
An unbeaten century by Sumit Kumar and a half-century each by V Singh, Mohammad Sharukh and Ishan Kishan helped the home team take the first innings lead. K Dasmanikpur was Odisha`s most successful bowler, taking three wickets. Suman Mohanty (67), Subhranshu Senapati (50) scored a half-century each for Odisha in the first innings.
