Orissa Football Association today named a 20-member State team for the 62nd National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy to be held at Jammu & Kashmir from May 25 to June 5.
The team, led by Gyana Ranjan Samal, will leave for J&K tomorrow by Neelachal Express. Orissa are scheduled to play their first three matches against Manipur, Services and Nagaland on May 27, 29 and 31st respectively.
Team: Goalkeeper: Santosh Kumar Das, Debi Prasad Das. Defenders: Akshyay Kumar Das, Hrusikesh Behera, Mohammad Sajid, Raj Kumar Jee, Ashish Kumar Nandi, S Rasuli Hoda, Ajay Kumar Behera. Midfielder: A Naresh, Siddharth Sankat Pruseth, Salkhar Soren, Durga Charan Muduli, Ansuman Mohanta, Ramesh Nayak. Forwards: Gyana Ranjan Samal (capt), Bhabani Prasad Mohanty, M M Siddique, Bijay Kumar Das, Dilip Barla. Coach: Subodh Kumar Jena; Manager: Ramesh Chandra Mallick.
