KISS-B emerge Coca Cola Cup champions

The `B` team of tribal school, Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) hammered Kalinga Vidyapitha (Syanoyr) 3-0 in the lop-sided final to emerge champions in the Coca Cola Cup Bhubaneswar Zone Sub-junior Football Tournament at Unit-I High School ground here today. Dominating the proceedings from start to finish, KISS scored through Ananta Murmu, Chaturananda Marandi and Hindurai Soren in the 21st, 23rd and 36th minutes.

Earlier in the semifinals, KISS `B` defeated Topovan High School 1-0, while Kalinga Vidyapitha prevailed over KISS `A` 4-2 in penalty shoot out. The all-important goal for KISS `B` was scored by Hindurai Soren.
India woman football team`s former captain Sradhanjali Samantaraya and head coach Mohammad Shahid Jabbar handed over the trophies at the presentation ceremony. Altogether 22 schools joined the four-day tournament, which was organised by Bhubaneswar Athletic Association in collaboration with Bhubaneswar Schools Sports Association.
