Former state champion Manas Ranjan Parida won the title with seven points in the Silver Jubilee Open Chess Tournament of Bhubaneswar Chess Association (BCA), which concluded at Secretariat Recreation Club here today. He received the top prize of Rs 5,000.
Top 25 finishers also received cash prizes. New India Assurance Divisional Manager Sarbeswar Sahoo gave away the prizes in the presence of BCA secretary Arati Bijoy Mohanty and director Debasish Panigrahi.
