Anup Mohapatra emerged champion in the 5th Pine Cask Golf Tournament, which concluded here Bhubaneswar Golf Club (BGC) course, Infocity today. Ranjit Singh lived up to his reputation as Mr Consistent of Odisha golf fraternity by pocketing the best gross prize, while Srimoy Kar finished runner-up in the main (0 to 16 handicap) category.
Altogether 75 golfers BGC took part in the the two-day tournament, which was sponsored by Pine Cask company.
RESULTS: Pine Cask champion: Anup Mohapatra (79); Best gross: Ranjit Singh (88); Runner-up (0-16 handicap): Srimoy Kar (79). 17-23 handicap: Winner: Lakhi Swain (73); Runner-up: Sunil Taneja (77). 24 and above handicap: Winner: Nikhil Pratap (63). Seniors (Winner): Gopinath Sarangi (61). Ladies (Winner): Kim Na Hyun (57). Longest drive: Deepinder Malhotra (251 yds). Nearest-to-pin: Yun Woo Jung (6 ft).
