Orissa Tennis Association secretary Asit Tripathy is not only a good tennis player but equally good golfer as well. He proved his golfing potential by winning the 0 to 18 handicap title in the Rotary Club Golf Tournament at the 120 Battalion Course here on Sunday.
Ranjit Singh too lived up to his reputation as one of the most consistent golfers of the State by bagging the best gross crown. He went on to clinch a double by securing the trophy for the longest drive, which measured 300 yards.
Srimoy Kar was another leading achiever of the tournament, claiming the top honour in the closest-to-the-pin contest with a 14-foot effort and finishing first runner-up in the swing-and-swing event. The two-day tournament was organised by Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Metro.
