Cuttack District Athletic Association (CDAA) won the girls` title in the 13th Sub-junior State Basketball Championship, defeating Rovers Club 18-12 in the final at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack today.
The top honour in the boys` section was shared by CDAA and Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) after the final match between the two sides was cancelled due to heavy rain.
Cuttack Collector Girish S N handed over the trophies at the closing function. MLA Prabhat Tripathy, Orissa Olympic Association secretary Asirbad Behera, Orissa Basketball Association secretary Ashok Sahu and Orissa Private Engineering College Association secretary Binod Dash were present on the occasion.
