Deba Dullav Das and Pramod Kumar Sahoo bagged a double each in the Secretariat Open Badminton Tournament, which was conducted by Orissa State Secretariat Badminton Association here at Unit-1 Indoor Hall on March 18 and 19. Das won the men`s singles title, befeating Mahendra Kumar Barik in the final. The duo then came together to claim the men`s doubles crown, defeating Ramakanta Das and Uma Sankar Mohapatra.
Sahoo prevailed over Lalit Mohan Pattnaik to pocket the veteran singles title. He then combined with Patnaik to secure the veteran doubles crows, defeating Radhashyam Mishra and Debi Prasad Mishra. Altogether 40 shuttlers participated in the two-day event.
