Satyajit Pratihari of Puri won the `Kalinga Shree` title by emerging champion in the State Level Bodybuilding Championship, which was hosted by Kapileswar Yuva Parishad & Gymnasium on the occasion of Holi at Kapileswar High School ground here today. Laxmi Narayan Pratihari (Puri), Satya Ranjan Behera, Papun Swain (both Bhubaneswar) and Krishna Rao (Balasore) finished second, third, fourth and fifth respectively.
Satya Ranjan Behera of Stay Fit gymnasium bagged the `Mr Bhubaneswar` crown by emerging best in the Bhubaneswar district championship, which was conducted along with the state level meet. Pupun Swain (Baulagada Municipal Gymnasium), Debendra Dalai (Body Fitness, Balakati), Debi Prasad Swain (Euro Gum) and Ranjan Kumar Patra (Fitness Zone) occupied the second to fifth positions respectively. The top five finishers in each category were given cash prizes.
Ministers Prafull Kumar Samal, Devi Prasad Mishra, legislators Bhupinder Singh, Ashok Panda, Suresh Routray, Orissa Amateur Bodybuilders Association secretary Prasanna Mahasuara and international judge Babuli Swain were present at the presentation ceremony.
