Orissa crashed out of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Inter-State T-20 Cricket Tournament, losing to Madhya Pradesh by eight wickets in the second quarterfinal match at Hyderabad today.
Batting first, Orissa made 126 for nine in 20 overs. In reply, Madhya Pradesh overhauled the target in 17.4 overs, riding on an unbeaten 55 by J Saxena and a 48 by M Mishra. Madhya Pradesh continued their winning run to reach the final, where Bengal beat them to emerge champions.
