Top seed Subrat Das lived upto his reputation as the best cueist of the state by winning the title in the BSA Cup All-Orissa Open Snooker Tournament, which concluded at Patia here today. In the final, Subrat fought back from two frames to three down to defeat Jiten Sarangi 6-4 (29-56, 66-42, 70-22, 35-65, 17-45, 80-2, 63-36, 70-41, 51-67, 48-25).
The turning point of the match was a break of 61 by Subrat in the sixth frame. The title triumph fetched Subrat a cash prize of Rs 20,000, while runners-up Jiten received Rs 10,000.
