Second seed Satyajyoti Mohanty (Sonu) emerged champion in the ATG Cup All-Orissa Snooker Tournament, which concluded at Cue Sport Academy in Bhubaneswar today. In the final, Mohanty came from behind to beat Amit Jena by 3-2 frames and take the top prize of Rs 5,000.
Runner-up Jena, who received Rs 3,000, won the first two frames 70-25 and 65-30. But Mohanty fought back in style to take the next next three frames 60-28, 58-29 and 54-38. Jena, who also bagged the prize for the highest break of 30, promised to win his maiden title in the next tournament.
