Orissa Cricket Association today appointed coaches and selectors for different state teams for the year 2011-12 as recommended by chief coach Michael Bevan. Former Australia all-rounder Bevan, whose services has been procured for overall development of cricket in the state, would directly guide the Ranji Trophy team, while coaches of other teams would act according to a coaching methodology prepared by the Aussie.
COACHES: Michael Bevan (Ranji Trophy team), Subhrajyoti Kanungo (U-22 team), Sritam Das (U-19 team), Subrat Behera (U-16 team), Trinath Sahoo (U-14 team), Rituparna Roy (Women\`s team).
SELECTORS:
Senior (Ranji and U-22): Chinmayananda Jena (Chairman); Subhasis Bhuyan, P Jayachandra, Sushanta Ghose (all members); Michael Bevan (Ex-officio member).
Junior (U-19, U-16 and U-14): Anup Kumar Patra (Chairman); Santosh Das, Upendra Kumar Barik, Anjan Kumar Khuntia (all members); Coaches of junior teams (Ex-officio members).
Women: Bidhan Chandra Rout (Chairman), Jagdish Chandra Routray, Dhirendra Kumar Rout (all members); Rituparna Roy (Ex-officio member).
