The three-day East Zone Vijay Merchant Trophy (u-16) Cricket match between host Tripura and Orissa ended in a draw at Agartala today. Tripura, however, secured three points by virtue of taking first innings lead, while Orissa contended themselves with one point.
Bhabatosh Paramanik, Gourav Mohapatra and Ashok Barik put up impressive performance for Orissa. Paramanik bagged seven wickets in the second innings, Mohapatra scalped five in the first innings and Barik scored an unbeaten half-century in the first innings.
