Host Orissa held former champions Bengal to a goalless draw in the last league match of the Host Orissa and fancied West Bengal qualified to compete in the final round of the 33rd Coca Cola Mir Iqbal Hussain Trophy Sub-junior National Football Championship to be held later this year.
The two sided topped the table in the East Zone tournament, which concluded at Bargarh today. In the four-team competition, Orissa beat Bihar 6-0, thrashed Chhattisgarh 11-0 and held West Bengal to a goalless draw. West Bengal also won their first two matches by huge margin, trouncing Chhattisgarh 7-0 and Bihar 13-0.
