Despite winning their last two league matches, Orissa finished third in the East Zone Vinoo Mankad Trophy Under-19 Cricket Tournament at Kolkata today. Jharkhand and Bengal qualified for the knock-out round by emerging zonal champions and runners-up respectively.
In their last league match, Orissa thrashed Tripura by nine wickets , thanks to a five-wicket haul by Soumendra Das and a breezy unbeaten knock of 46 (11x4) by skipper Sumitosh Praharaj.
