Nishant Biswal bagged a double by winning both the junior titles in the 16th State Billiard and Snooker Championship Cuesport Academy here today. Cuttack Club cueist Nishant won the junior billiards title yesterday, defeating Chirag Arora 320-249 in the final yesterday. He completed the double by beating Ashutosh Padhy 4-1 in the junior snooker final today.

BILLIARDS: Quarterfinal (One only): Deepak Sharma beat Satyaki Panigrahi 138-75. Semifinals: Nishant Biswal beat D Sharma 377-108; Chirag Arora beat Ashutosh Padhy 271-268. Final: N Biswal bt C Arora 320-249.
SNOOKER: Quarterfinal (One only): Godwin Geoffery Kullu beat Arpit Mohanty 3-0 (45-31, 67-22, 78-31). Semifinals: Nishant Biswal beat GG Kullu 3-0 (69-9, 70-38, 53-42); Ashutosh beat Chirag Arora 3-0 (54-19, 73-45, 65-47). Final: N Biswal beat A Padhy 63-72, 42-33, 65-34, 42-31, 70-38.
