Orissa boys and girls teams left here today to participate in the 14th Junior National Sepak-takraw Championship to be held at Kozhikode in Kerala from May 2 to 5. According to officials of Orissa State Sepak Takraw Association, a proposal to host to host the Kalinga Ashok Federation Cup Tournament this year be submitted in the meeting of the Sepak Takraw Federation of India to be held during the National meet.
Orissa teams:
Boys regu event: Debendra Patra, Md Farhan (capt), Raja Nayak, Ramachandra Barik, Akash Mohapatra. Rajendra Sahu (coach), Braja Mohan Sahu (manager).
Girls team event: Mamata Bhoi (capt), Smitarani Nayak, Madhusmita Priyadarshini Sahu, Subhalaxmi Barik, Sasmita Marandi, Rajasmita Ojha, Jyoshnarani Sahu, Jinarani Nayak Sunita Sahu, Priyanka Mohanty. Janaki Sahoo (coach), Anjulata Sahoo (manager).
