Bilaspur won the 16th Borasambar Cup All-India Cricket Tournament, defeating Raipur by three wickets in the all-Railway final at R B High School ground in Padampur (Bargarh) today. The champion side received the top prize of Rs 31,001, while the runners-up were given Rs 15,001.
Mujahid Haque hit an unbeaten century for the Raipur side to be adjudged the man of the series and best batsman of the tournament. P Vivek Naidu and Sunny Das (both Bilaspur) were declared the man of the match and best bowler respectively. STSC Welfare Minister Bijay Ranjan Singh Bariha handed over the trophy at the closing function.
