Camillia George Telegraph (Kolkata) emerged champions in the East Zone Qualifying Round of the 31st Federation Cup Football Tournament, which concluded at Lengu Mishra Stadium in Bargarh today. In the hard-fought final, George Telegraph beat Tata Football Academy (Jamshedpur) 6-4, via penalty shoot out to advance to the knock-out stage.
Teams were tied 2-2 at the end of the regulation and extra time. The Kolkata side converted four spot kicks, while TFA converted twice during the tie-breaker.
