Orissa has won the National Junior Federation Cup Power-20 Cricket Championship, defeating Kerala by 38 runs in the final at Nagpur earlier this week. According to officials of Orissa Power-20 Cricket Association on Thursday, the champion team’s captain Biranchi Narayan Mishra and Sunil Kumar Swain were adjudged the best batsman and best bowler respectively.
Brief scores: Orissa 96/10 in 12 overs (Nihar Ranjan Das 28) beat Kerala 58/10 in 10.3 overs (Sunil Swain 4 wkts, Dhiren Lenka 3 wkts).
