Orissa`s new tennis talent Adwaith Patnaik returned home today after winning the boys` under-14 singles title in the KIMS AITA Talent Series Tennis Tournament at Bangalore yesterday. According to his coach Santosh Mallik, fourth seed Adwaith outplayed third seed Anthony Savio (Karnataka) 9-3 in the final. Earlier in the semifinals, Bhubaneswar lad Adwaith upset second seed A Kashyap 9-7.
This was the second Talent Series title for Adwaith, who claimed his first one earlier this year at Hyderabad. Few hours after returning from Bangalore, Adwaith left for Raipur to take part in another Talent Series tournament there.
