Orissa experienced an early exit with state champion Nishant Biswal and runner-up Surya Prasad Patnaik suffering premature defeats in the 34th Junior National Snooker Championship at Hotel Clarks Shiraz in Agra (UP) today.
Nishant lost in the preliminary round, while Surya went down in the round of 32 after getting a bye in the round of 64. Meanwhile, Mundir Sherazi (Kar), Shahbaz Khan (PSPB), Kunwardeep Singh (Pun), Aditya Agarwal (Mah), Vipin Premi (Del), Vidit Gawri (J&K), Varun Madan (Del) and Manjot Singh (Pun) booked the eight quarterfinals slots.

Preliminary Round: Nitin (Har) beat Nishant Biswal (Ori) 3-1 (26-66, 49-42, 50-43, 62-51).
Round of 32: Mukesh Kapahi (J&K) beat Surya Prasad (Ori) 3-2 (48-37, 32-54, 43-63, 61-32, 70-52).
